We Guide You Step by Step

From Planning to Show Night

STEP01
Free Discovery Call
We learn whether we are the right team to build your show. Free, no commitment.
+
Timeline: Free · No commitment required
  • Dedicated briefing session where we listen to your vision, audience, and show objectives before saying a single word about what we do.
  • Honest fit assessment. If we are not the right match for your show, we tell you on this call. No pitch, no pressure, no follow-up sales process.
  • Preliminary show scope. By the end of the call you will have a clear sense of what a world-class production for your venue looks like and what it could achieve.
  • Clear next steps outlined so you know exactly what happens if you choose to move forward. No mystery, no vague timelines.
  • Zero obligation. The call costs you nothing but 15 minutes. What you leave with is clarity.
STEP02
Venue Audit
We find what everyone else walked past.
+
Timeline: Day 1, 3
  • Full on-site walk of your venue where we assess every corner, angle, and architectural detail that can be used as a show asset.
  • Technical audit report covering power, rigging points, sightlines, and structural limitations. We solve problems on paper before they become problems on show night.
  • Audience flow mapping that identifies where attention naturally gathers and where it drops, so the show concept can guide movement and maximize impact per square metre.
  • Documented opportunity list of every underused element in your space. Empty walls, forgotten walkways, overhead structures. We find the show that is already inside your venue.
  • Written findings shared with you so you understand exactly what we saw and why the show concept we develop is built around your specific space.
STEP03
Design and Show Concept
Your space gets a story. A real one. Not a template.
+
Timeline: Week 1, 2
  • Custom show concept document built entirely around your venue, your audience, and your objective. Nothing is reused from another project.
  • Visual moodboards and reference materials so you can see and feel the direction before a single piece of equipment is ordered.
  • Lighting narrative that maps the emotional journey of your guest from arrival to exit. Every scene is intentional. Every transition is designed.
  • IP and immersive experience integration if your show has a brand, character, or storyline. We build the concept around your existing assets.
  • Concept review session where you see the full idea and give direction before we move to production. You stay in control of the vision at every stage.
STEP04
Show Design
Every minute planned before the first guest arrives.
+
Timeline: Week 2, 3
  • Full show production blueprint mapping every lighting sequence, aerial showcase, projection mapping element, and interactive touchpoint in precise order.
  • Technical drawings and rig plans submitted to your venue so your team knows what is coming, when it arrives, and where everything is positioned.
  • Show timing schedule that runs to the minute. Every cue documented. Every transition designed for maximum emotional impact at the right moment.
  • Equipment specification sheet covering every piece of hardware. You know exactly what is going into your space before it arrives.
  • Contingency plan built in at the design stage, not discovered on show night. Backup systems, alternative sequences, and rapid response protocols are part of the design.
STEP05
Feasibility
We solve the problems before show night does.
+
Timeline: Week 3
  • Structural and power assessment completed before any equipment is confirmed. Load limits, cable routing, and power draw all verified against your venue's actual capacity.
  • Permit and compliance mapping so every regulatory requirement is identified early. No last-minute surprises from local authorities.
  • Safety sign-off documentation prepared and submitted. From drone flight paths to laser safety, all approvals are processed by our team before you need to think about them.
  • Vendor coordination begins. Equipment lead times, transport logistics, and crew scheduling are all locked against the show date.
  • Risk register produced covering every identified technical, weather, or operational risk with a mitigation plan for each. You receive a copy.
STEP06
Budget and Partnerships
We make the numbers work. Then work harder.
+
Timeline: Week 3, 4
  • Final itemised production budget reviewed and confirmed against your approved spend. No surprises after this point. What you approve is what you pay.
  • Sponsorship deck prepared using the show design visuals so potential sponsors see exactly what they are backing. Our clients consistently attract sponsors because they present a fully designed concept, not an idea.
  • Ticketing and revenue model analysis where applicable. We have built shows that paid for themselves through gate revenue alone. We share the frameworks that made that possible.
  • Partnership outreach support. If you need co-presenters, venue partners, or brand sponsors, we can advise on positioning and outreach strategy based on what has worked across our previous shows.
  • Full budget summary sent to you in a format suitable for internal sign-off or board presentation. Clean, clear, and fully accounted.
STEP07
Installation
We work while you sleep. Your venue stays open.
+
Timeline: Week 5, 7
  • All installation scheduled during off-hours. Nights, early mornings, and low-traffic periods only. Your venue remains fully operational from day one to launch day.
  • Dedicated installation crew trained to work fast, clean, and quietly in live venue environments. Your team will not be pulled into logistics, noise control, or project management.
  • Daily installation progress report sent to you each morning. You always know what was completed overnight and what is coming next.
  • On-site project manager present throughout the entire installation period. One person who knows the full show and can make decisions without escalating to you.
  • Site clean and inspection completed after each installation phase. When your venue opens each morning, it looks prepared and intentional, not like a construction zone.
STEP08
Pre-Show Rehearsal
We do not test it on your guests. Full run-throughs. Every weak point fixed here.
+
Timeline: Week 8
  • Full technical dress rehearsal with every element running simultaneously. Lighting, audio, automation, aerial systems. Everything executed in show sequence before a single guest arrives.
  • Cue-by-cue walkthrough with the full production team present. Every transition confirmed. Every timing verified against the show schedule.
  • Identified issues resolved on-site during the rehearsal window. If something does not perform to standard, we fix it here, not on show night.
  • Operator briefing completed. Every crew member who will run the show on the night knows their position, their cue, and their contingency response before the rehearsal ends.
  • Rehearsal report shared with you confirming the show is production-ready. You go into show night knowing every element has been tested and signed off.
STEP09
Show Night
You host. We run the show.
+
Timeline: Show Night
  • Full production crew on-site from pre-open to post-close. Every position staffed. Every system monitored. You do not manage a single technical element.
  • Live show operations run by our team. Every cue called. Every transition executed. The show runs exactly as designed and rehearsed.
  • Real-time contingency response. If anything deviates from plan, our team responds immediately using the contingency protocols built during design. You are never told about a problem, only a solution.
  • Post-show debrief and asset delivery. After the show, you receive production documentation, show footage if captured, and a debrief report for your records.
  • Your only job is to be present for your guests. Every operational decision, every technical call, every crew coordination happens behind the scenes. The show is yours. The work is ours.

Spencer Tan

Founder of LFC Exhibits & LFC Holdings
26 Year Industry Veteran

Founded LFC in 1998 with one belief: that light could change how a city feels about itself. Over 25 years he took that belief to 5 continents — the Beijing Olympics, Amsterdam Light Festival, Gardens by the Bay, Dubai, Japan, the Philippines. He didn’t build a portfolio. He built a track record that most companies in this industry will never touch. He’s retiring now not because the work slowed down, but because he built something worth handing over.

Calister Tan

Founder, LFC+
The son who carried it forward

Grew up watching his father turn empty spaces into experiences people still talk about. He didn’t take over immediately — he went and built his own skills first in lighting, landscape, marketing, attention psychology, and understanding how people make decisions. When he came back, he saw exactly what it was: 20 years of proven results in an industry the internet hasn’t touched yet. He’s not here to maintain the legacy. He’s here to take it further.

FAQs

Straight answers. No Runaround.

300+ events across 20+ countries over 25 years. That includes the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Amsterdam Light Festival, Gardens by the Bay, Nabana No Sato (voted one of Japan's best winter illuminations), ILight Marina Bay, and major events across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

We survived COVID-19 in an industry that didn't. That's not a flex, it's evidence that the 1+N Method works when others can't hold on.

Almost none. This is Done For You, not Done With You.

We need about 3 hours of your time across the entire project: an initial strategy call, a concept review, and a final walkthrough before show night. We handle everything else, design, permits, supplier coordination, installation, testing, and launch.

Your job is to host. Ours is to make the space unforgettable.

Pilot activations start at $15,000. Full venue transformations typically range from $49,000 to $2,000,000+ depending on scale and duration.

The venues we've worked with have used these experiences to attract title sponsors, increase footfall by hundreds of percent, and generate press coverage they couldn't have bought. The experience pays for itself.

If we genuinely don't think we can generate a return for your specific venue, we'll tell you on the first call. No pitch, no pressure.

We've worked in malls, open-air parks, cathedrals, botanical gardens, beachfronts, and convention centers. Across Singapore, Dubai, Japan, the US, the Philippines, Korea, the Netherlands, and more.

No two spaces are the same, that's actually the point. The 1+N Method doesn't impose a template on your venue. It finds what's already there and builds the experience around it.

On your first call, we'll assess your space honestly. If we can't deliver a measurable outcome, we'll say so upfront.

Ideally 12-20 weeks before your event. This gives us time to design, permit, install, and test without rushing anything.

Most projects run: 2 weeks design → 2 weeks planning and permits → 3 weeks installation → 1 week testing and launch.

No. Every installation is scheduled during off-hours — nights, early mornings, weekends. Your venue stays fully operational from day one to launch day. Our team is trained to work fast, clean, and quiet. You won't feel us until show night — and on show night, you'll feel every bit of it.

We work with venues starting at $15,000 for pilot activations. Smaller footprints, shorter durations, focused impact — it's a great way to see the 1+N Method work in your specific space before committing to a larger transformation.

From there, many clients phase into larger activations as they see the footfall and sponsorship results come in.

Fully handled. We manage all approvals, insurance documentation, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements on your behalf. This includes everything from flight path filings to structural safety sign-offs.

You don't touch the paperwork. We do. It's part of the service.

Your show is closer than you think.

One conversation is all it takes to know if we are the right team to build your show.

We work with a limited number of clients each quarter.
